The AgroSolar Top improves soil quality and reduces the need for additional irrigation. The AgroSolar Secure system can be mounted on existing hail protection systems and the frost protection or hail protection nets can be integrated. The semi-transparent modules regulate the homogeneous incidence of light, promote the microclimate and protect the fruit from weather extremes such as frost, drought and hail. Rainwater can be collected and used for additional irrigation.
The vertically oriented photovoltaic modules break the wind and therefore act like an erosion control strip. This type of system is therefore ideally suited for erosion-prone farmland. Narrow flower strips remain under the windbreaker, providing a valuable habitat for many creatures.
