WFES 2026 Abu Dhabi, UAE

Showcasing the Future of Human‑Powered Energy

At the World Future Energy Summit 2026, Pavegen stepped into Abu Dhabi with a clear ambition: to show the world what the next generation of human‑powered energy looks like.

In a year defined by bold sustainability commitments and rapid smart‑city development across the Middle East, WFES became the perfect platform to unveil our most advanced technologies yet. From the debut of our X2 Chevron tiles to the launch of our hybrid Solar+ system, we transformed our stand into a living demonstration of how movement, sunlight, and human experience can power the spaces of tomorrow. This wasn’t just an exhibition – it was a glimpse into the future of experiential energy.

Transforming footfall into a smart-building asset

The Challenge

WFES 2026 brought together global leaders in clean energy, smart cities, and climate innovation – a stage built for breakthrough ideas. But with hundreds of exhibitors competing for attention, the challenge was clear:

How do you stand out in a hall full of world‑class technology? And more importantly: How do you make sustainability something people can feel, not just observe?

Pavegen’s mission was to transform a traditional exhibition footprint into a living, breathing demonstration of human‑powered energy – one that would cut through the noise, spark conversation, and show the region’s decision‑makers what experiential sustainability can look like at scale.

WFES was the perfect environment to debut our next‑generation technologies:

  • X2 Chevron tiles: our most efficient, modular, and visually striking kinetic system to date
  • Solar+ tiles: combining solar harvesting with kinetic generation for the first time in a single integrated platform

This wasn’t just a stand. It was a statement.

The Solution

We designed an immersive, high‑impact installation built around movement, light, and interaction – a space where every step generated energy, every tile told a story, and every visitor became part of the system.

1. The X2 Chevron Launch

The WFES audience became the first in the Middle East to experience our new X2 Chevron format – engineered for higher output, faster installation, and a bold directional design that naturally guides footfall.

The chevron pattern created a dynamic flow through the stand, turning simple movement into a visual and emotional moment. Each step triggered responsive lighting, real‑time energy data, and a sense of collective participation.

2. Solar+ – A New Era of Hybrid Energy

Alongside X2, we unveiled Solar+, our hybrid tile system that merges kinetic and solar harvesting into a single platform. WFES attendees could see – and feel – how two renewable sources can work together in one seamless surface.

This hybrid approach resonated strongly with city planners, airport operators, and developers looking for modular, scalable energy solutions.

3. A Stand Designed as an Experience, Not a Booth

We built the space around three principles:

  • Movement as engagement
  • Light as feedback
  • Data as storytelling

Visitors didn’t just walk through the stand – they activated it. They powered it. They became part of it.

The result was a constant flow of people, conversations, and cameras capturing the installation in action.
